I have always had a passion for helping others — especially those who are committed to improving their own lives. My name is Shannon, and my journey in the tax world began in the late eighties when I started preparing tax returns for my family. What began as a simple act of support grew into a long‑standing interest in the tax field.
Over the years, that interest became a calling. I joined an established tax preparation firm, where I earned my certification as a tax preparer in the state of Maryland and had the opportunity to served many clients. During that time, I saw firsthand how much of a difference it makes when clients are not only served, however educated, respected, and guided with care.
I realized that I wanted to truly elevate the client experience — to provide clarity, compassion, and empowerment — I needed the freedom to do things differently. That realization sparked the vision that led me to open my own tax firm. With passion, purpose, and faith guiding every step, Assurance Tax Pro was born.
